Spelling difference in Name, applying for N-400

Hi All,

I wanted to seek advice as to how I should proceed with filing the online N-400 as far as my name goes. My issue is that there is one letter dropped in my name. For the sake of privacy, consider the example below:

Birth certificate has the last name Melissa but all my other documents like  non - US passport, US drivers license, PR card etc have the last name Melisa (with a single 's')

The change happened somewhere in the course of my birth and the application for my first passport when I was an infant. So, i've always used the name in my passport for all legal purposes up until getting to this point. There isn't any other document confirming this change and I prefer to use the legal name that is in my passport, however, i am listing all the names i've used since my birth.

Would the name in my passport suffice as evidence of my current legal name without any other document showing the change?

Use name ( Spelling ) on the passport and GC.   You can explain , if ask during interview , then say what you said that one letter is dropped from your name from childhood.  You will be fine.  It happened to me and got N-400 approved without any issue.
