Timeframe from Interview to VIH?

Curious because of all the Administrative Processing delays what the typical timeframe is between the interview and VIH. My fiance has his interview on the 24 which is two weeks after medical. Curious if anyone recently has or hasn't been subjected to Admin Processing *Recent as in the last month* Thanks everyone

My case just went into AP today two days after interview so I’ll keep you posted. However it did have case last updated dates day of interview and yesterday.

If his medical is in his file with the interviewer, then he can reasonably hope for 1 week Jan 31, or maybe Feb 1 as the earliest. That is not a guarantee because things happen. If the medical is not in the hands of the interviewer, then it will be longer. If he (or his family) has Muslim ties, was not born in the UK, has lived in or visited terrorist countries, then the extra security checks will take longer.

 

Update this thread to say if the medical was in his file, then again when the visa arrives. So many of these threads never continue to tell the rest of the story.

 

Everybody's status will say AP at some point, like Amanda's. Not all that say AP get stuck there processing for weeks.
