Embassy Review : My fiance just gave me his experience and since he doesn't use this site I'll relay for him.

When he first got there they asked for his ds160 and they put a sticker on it and gave it back to him. He went into the first room and there were to lines with a woman at the end letting people know where to go. He went upstairs to his correct area. He said it was an open floor plan with two windows. They called his number and the first man took his fingerprints and asked when he was coming to the US. Asked for police certificate, affidavit of support, ds160, passport, his birth certificate, and one American passport photo. The man at the first window gave him his x-ray photo. The second window he went to the lady was very stern and asked him if he had ever worked in the US, had any other visas, if he had ever been arrested, when was he last in the US, when did he leave, and if he had ever been married/divorced before. She took a second set of finger prints. And said your visa should be approved. He asked her, so I have my visa? She said "Yes you will recieve it in 8-9 business days" and that was that.

Didn't ask any questions about me or us. Strange. I'll take it though.

Embassy Review : Checked in a half hour early. Walked through security, went to info desk and got a number and went up stairs to waiting room. Was called on time for interview even though it was full in the waiting room. Went to IO office she let us know how the interview would go before she started and asked my husband questions about how we met then asked me questions about our wedding then asked all the 485 questions. She asked if we had additional proof and I gave her photos from our wedding, lease agreement, and bank accounts. She then took a photo of husband and his finger prints and we were off. took about 30 mins total once we were called back.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
