Hello guys, anyone here who can share interview experiences especially questions asked if your fiance/e is FILIPINO US CITIZEN.

THANKS!

Some example questions would be:

-What is the name of your fiancé/e?

-Where did you meet?

-When did you meet?

-How did you meet?

-When are you planning to get married?

-What is your fiancé/es work?

-Have you gone out of the country?

-How long were you out of the country?

-How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

-Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

-Do you plan to have kids?

-Where do you plan on staying in the US?

-name and DOB

-what year did you meet

-How did you meet

-what are your fiancé parents' names

-your fiancé's employer and job

-have either of you been married before

-other countries you've been to

-do you have kids together

These are some of the questions but rest assure that all the questions will be about the petitioner, the beneficiary, and the relationship. Always tell the truth even if the truth is "I don't know". Don't rush in answering and give a straightforward answer. Look the CO in the eye when answering and smile. Don't give a novel as your answer. Just brief and concise. Don't volunteer any information unless asked, this could send you down the wrong road.

Don't forget to ask if you passed.

Did your fiance live in the Philippines for a year or more after age 18?   If yes, you will need a CENOMAR for him also.

"A CENOMAR is also required for a petitioner who was born in the Philippines and lived in the country for at least one (1) year upon reaching the age of 18."

STEP 5 is the checklist  https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

I'm a naturalized US citizen born and raised in the Philippines. Make sure your fiancee knows when you migrated to the US. During the interview, the consul asked her about the exact date that I migrated to the US and how long I've been in the country.

Did they also asked her when are you naturalized? Or just when dis you migrated?

Hi.. I’m a K1 visa with a Filipino US citizen fiancé got interviewed May 15, 2018 and arrived here in US June 1,2018...

it it was a quick interview for me

Questions were:

Name and birthday of fiancee

How and when did you meet

Your love story and when, how we were engaged

When did he migrate to US and who petitioned my fiance

My fiance’s  parents names ?? If I met them here in the Philippines?

Fiance’s occupation

When did he last came to the Philippines to meet me?

Asked for our Photos

Then the consular officer recommended a Visa for me right away...

Visa came May 22, 2018

Hi! Just want to ask you regarding the document. Will they also be asking for the birth certificate of the Filipino US citizen fiance?

No, not for the visa interview/application at the embassy.

There is a potential CENOMAR requirement -

A CENOMAR is also required for a petitioner who was born in the Philippines and lived in the country for at least one (1) year upon reaching the age of 18.
