5 weeks and still no passport/visa

They are working on scheduled passport and visas not affected by shutdown. Should check their updates on facebook

Mine is ready as well. I think it was ready for a long time just that they didnt send them out until today

Oh yeah I think they have been ready for weeks but was just waiting till after Christmas. But its fine we get to spend new year's together and my fiancé birthday happens to be on New Year's as well. All well wishes to everybody!

10/18/18 -  RFE notification

10/22/18 -  RFE received in mail

11/01/18 -  RFE sent to USCIS

11/06/18 -  RFE received by USCIS

11/14/18 -  NOA2

11/27/18 - NVC Received

12/12/18 - NVC Case number

01/8/19 - Scheduled interview-APPROVED

01/21/19 - POE!

Ticket is expensive now if you had to travel before new year. I changed her ticket to January 16th. Paid $325 for penalties

I found one for a little over $1,000 but if we wait til the 1st tickets are about 1,400 1,600. Once he tells me everything is correct on the visa than I'll booknhis flight. Can't believe I'm paying basically $2,000 for a one way ticket ( due to the first ticket I lost out on).

Well it will pay off in the future. It not about the money but been together with your partner matters most.
