My fiancee's CFO Cebu appointment is this upcoming January. Has anyone gone to CFO Cebu recently (this month)? Is she actually required to be there very early in the morning? Her appointment is not until 2 pm. In the letter it says: Note: You must be at the CFO Cebu office at least an hour and a half for the registration procedure. I'm reading different time frames in this forum and most of them are from years ago, so I wonder if anything has changed recently.

Also, has CFO Cebu been asking for NBI clearance lately? I wonder if my fiancee should get another one since she gave the original copy during her embassy interview.

Thanks guys!

Not sure if CFO - Cebu is still asking everyone to arrive at 8AM ..  don't hear many reports back

No the NBI is not asked for at CFO.   Some use their personal copy of the NBI (As it has a pictures) for ID .. that has been talked about on here, but it is not required otherwise.

CFO doesn't has for the NBI.   it is sometimes used for secondary ID but that is it.

No, not 8am but 1:00pm.  One hour before appointment.  It is on the brochure

Cebu was doing it odd.  The wanted EVERYONE to show up at 8AM, complete the paperwork and then those scheduled for the 2PM seminar to come back later.   So the question is- Are they still being odd~

No because they only have 2pm seminars.

Doesn't change what Cebu was doing  ... show up at 8AM .. seminar at 2PM   which is why the OP asked about this, wanted to know if they were still doing that.   Fair number of posts on this over the years.

When the brochure says specifically to arrive One hour before your appointment, I don't know what part of that you find hard to understand?

In reading people's posts, it seems that the letter explicitly stated to be there at 8 am. Our appointment letter doesn't say anything with regards to being there at 8 am; just says to be there an hour and a half early.

I just don't want my fiancee to go there at 12:30 pm only to be turned down for being late.

Cebu may of finally gotten onboard with the process and now you only need to be there the 1.5 hrs early.  That is what the letter states then that is what you do.
