US Embassy Abu Dhabi consulate letter

Hi everyone,

I am the petitioner and my fiancée lives in Dubai. We have received an email from NVC last 30th of October that the I-129F petition was approved and sent to US Embassy in Abu Dhabi. On 2nd of November as we track it online, it says that the case is “Ready” but as well on the email it says that they will contact us when they are ready to process. Is this letter from the consulate mandatory for the interview? to set medical appointment it is also asking if we received this letter yet to create an account. Thank you so much in advance!

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.

I have not been able to find much on AD but here is what I have https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-AE/niv. You should go to your sub-forum website here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/ and here is a recent thread for some who are processing a K-1 and their recent experience (see below). Also, more info here from your portal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United
