Hi all,

My AOS interview is on Monday and I want to make sure I have all the documents that I need. I would appreciate if anyone could look over my checklist and let me know if anything else is necessary. I am adjusting from K1 visa. Thank you!

Documents for myself:
Birth certificate + copy
Canadian passport + copy of biographical page
EAD + copy of back and front
K1 Visa (in passport) + copy
SSN + copy
Driver's license + copy
Copies of both of my i-94s (I only have the original for the most recent form)
Certified marriage certificate

Copy of DS-3025 from my medical exam (medical was less than a year old when i filed for i-485)

All original NOAs + copies

Documents for my husband:
birth certificate + copy

US Passport + copy of biographical page

drivers licence + copy

SSN + copy
updated I-864 affidavit of support

  • 2 most recent tax transcripts (was not working during 2015 so did not have to file)
  • recent paystubs
  • letter from employer

updated i-864 affidavit of support for our co-sponser

  • 3 most recent tax returns and W4s
  • recent paystubs
  • letter from employer
  • birth certificate (to show US citizenship)

Supporting documents:
Car purchase with both of our names on it

Car registration with both of our names

Car insurance cards showing us both on the policy

health insurance cards and tax form showing us both on the policy

1st and last page of our lease showing our names

letter from bank stating we are both on the account

paystubs from both of us and bank statement from the last month showing both of our cheques being deposited

tax return filed jointly

wedding invitation copy

pictures: 3-4 from our wedding, several from when my parents visited, one of us moving into our new apartment - approximately 15 to 20 in total

We don't have any utilities in both of our names unfortunately.

Some questions:
do I need to fill out a new G325a form for this interview?

has anyone gone to their interview and had to have another medical done?
