Wife was scheduled for 24th, but notices on USCIS website told about offices closed for special holiday declared by Donald.

Notice said all appointments would be rescheduled in 3 weeks or so.

I suspect same thing will happen for anyone scheduled for 31 December.

Do we know for certain whether the shutdown is affecting the Biometrics offices, I'm scheduled for Jan 3rd so now i'm really confused, I figured it would have no effect

Look at the official USCIS website "News".

They clearly state that the 'General' shut down will not affect their operations, so that people should attend their scheduled interviews.

However, they were closed for the 'Special Holiday' on 24 Dec and I suspect they will be closed for another 'Special Holiday' on 31 Dec.

Hello, I file my N400 tomorrow, but have one question the going through what I have so far. For anyone that is applying for the N400 based on 3 years of marriage, did you provide a 5 year travel history for when you were possibly coming over as a tourist of visitor to see a significant other prior to marriage and prior to becoming a permanent resident?

For me I would travel back and forward from my home in the UK and work in North Africa to the U.S. for short periods of time before adjusting status when we got married at short notice, after that I had to give up my job as I couldn't leave while waiting on the normal EAD etc.

Hi everyone!  We are preparing to submit our N400.  We took a little break after the approval of the I-751.

So can someone enlighten me?  The paper instructions say that all of the supporting evidence for a marriage-based naturalization (besides copy of green card and marriage certificate) should be brought to the interview.  Online, it is saying to submit them with the N-400.   WHAT DID YOU ALL DO?!  I wasn't expecting to resubmit all of the same evidence that we sent with the I-751, but it looks like that's what they want for the N-400 too.  Is that correct?  Did everyone do just as much (because we sent TONS with the I-751).  Or do they just want evidence for the period between the I-751 and the N-400?
