hi Everyone

my Dad is filling for me, we were refered for DNA test on the 20th september 2018. the results has been submiited to the American Embassy in Ghana. when i checked the status of my case on caeh it says REFUSED even though the embassy has not contacted me yet. it also says the last update on my case is 15th Nov 2018. i will like to know what the REFUSE means and also how long does it take for the  embassy to call you for visa interview after they have received your DNA results.

thankyou

Refused means you don’t get an visa. So no interview.

it seems like they were not happy with the result from the DNA test.

Did you and your father use an AABB accredited lab? If not that my be the reason it was refused,or maybe they didn't get enough sample. And you need to.repeat the test.  I would try to contact the embassy by email or phone and find out what is going on.

Find out from your daddy if they have sent him a copy of the DNA result. They would normally send a copy to him before they inform you about their decision. But what was the status before it turned to Refused?

Didn’t you submit any proof of relationship when you went for the initial interview??
