Going to have my carry out menus printed for the cafe because I open next week. Hope for some lazy time. Then, my grandmother is in town from Oklahoma City and I haven't seen her for 3yrs so we're going out to dinner with her and her brothers and sisters and two of my cousins who I haven't seen for like 5-6yrs. None of them have ever met Neil. Should be an interesting experience because I've found that I have to actually translate his English for new people because of his accent. Also, I sure as hell hope he likes AT LEAST one thing on the menu because we're going to an Amish restaurant and he is super picky.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Amen sister!!!! My husband is Canadian, but had spent some time in Australia and a bit in England, all leading him to have a messed up accent that people here can't understand. Doesn't help that he is also soft spoken. I have become very accustomed to repeating what he orders in restaurants, etc.

Although, now that I think about it, the waitress understood him tonight. Hmmmm, maybe he is picking up the New England accent.
