Hello. My sister had her interview in October and got a refusal letter stating that she was missing police certificate from Greece. We requested the certificate from the Greek authorities and last week the Embassy reply to our email stating that their office has received the certificate and they they will be contacting us with the upcoming steps of the visa process once the case have been reviwed by the them. My questions is: Should we replay to the embassy with a thank you email. Has been a week but should we still send them a thank you email or no? Please help. Thank you very much.

if it is in AP, it takes typically 60-90 days to resolve, I would hold off contacting them unless that time has passed most AP cases resolve in that time all by themselves.

some take longer, I would wait till after the 60-90 day mark to seek out information again, they confirmed they have it so likely they are already working on it.

Thank you very much for your respond. Is it 60-90 days after the interview or after they receive whatever document was missing?

after they have received the documents requested.

AP is used to conduct background checks and to make sure all the paperwork is correct.

I am sure it will be resolved quickly, I would not worry too much.

No need to send a thank you email.

Hi guys. My sister was asked to send her passport to the ambassador two days ago. And now her visa status says READY and underneath reads to attend interview. Last case updated 12/11.  She already went for interview. Can some explain please. Thank you very much.

Hasn’t she already had her interview? How did her first interview go?
