Hi everyone, can someone please give some information if my mom needs I864A form from my sister or not , they live together last year they file tax return separat but she still shows dependent on mom's tax returns i put her on mom I864 form in her dependants. My mom will need joint sponsor when i combined mom and sister income they are little behind to income level, so on part 6 on i864 my house hold income part should i put my mom and sister income together or just mom's? so if i put my sister income, does she need to fill form i864A? Or should i just not involve her and do my mom's form alone with joint sponsor? Thank you so much for understanding!!

There is no requirement to have a household member complete an I-864A (although a spouse can be requested to do so).

If she has a joint sponsor, I would not include an I-864A from the sister.

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

The household income would include that of the sponsor (+ that of the intending immigrant, if eligible) since there are no household members including their income via an I-864A.

i suppose. i would assume if they were trying to combine income to meet income requirements?

Correct. Hence why the OP doesn't need to do so since they need a joint sponsor anyway.
