Hello everyone,

Last week I mailed the forms i485, i131 and i765 to the lockbox in Chicago. The forms were all together in the same envelope.

this morning I received a text with two receipt numbers, just the ones for the form i485 and i131, meaning that the form i765 is missing. I immediately called the uscis and they told me that there is no i765 form in my name. The woman over the phone submitted an online inquiry for me and told me to wait up to 30 days to receive news.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? What can I do?

Did you seperate each form with clips before putting them all in the same envelope?

Yes. Each form and its documents were separated by clips and had 3 different cover letters.

Doesn't mean they lost it. It could have been rejected, I had that happen to me. I-485 and i-131 were both accepted while my i-765 was rejected. It will show up in your mailbox a few days from now.

May I ask you why yours was rejected?

I was pretty meticulous and I can’t think about any reasons why my form would be sent back.

It was rejected because of "wrong fee". Which was their error because I did send the correct fee and everything else was accepted, so.
