Flight - 1 way or return does it matter

Looking at flights and wondered if I book at return flight does it matter? 

My K1 is in my hand Im ready to go!

Have found that booking round trip is cheaper. Just cancel the return flight before the date ur suppose to fly.

Most people book return because it's cheaper. A few find one-way tickets.

 

Remeber to cancel your return.

Hello Jessicagibbo only get Inbound Flights. Is Not necessary get Return Flight because you going to live in US.

I would simply book the less expensive option.  Just be sure to cancel the return flight if you book a round trip...

I booked a return flight, it was more than half the price of a one way ticket.

I booked the return as far into the future as I could (ended up being six months)

I also booked a return flight, which as everyone says massively decreases the cost! I had a wishful thinking date of returning, which of course was impossible to meet... I just made sure to set myself a reminder to cancel the flight at a reasonably 'believable' time to cancel and in case it raised any flags with the airline (though I think only repeat offenders of doing this would have anything to worry about).
