I just received my NVC completed case notification today! (11/7/18) How long did it take for you to get your interview date from completion (specifically Ghana Embassy applicants)?

Could be up to 3 months. My CC was 8 August, was scheduled on 2 Nov for December 20. Hope this will be helpful

3 months specifically, that’s only if you are very observant checking out for interview dates.

Get your police report done, and wait for packet 3 via email from the embassy. Then you can go ahead with the medicals, whilst you checking online for your appointment date. Ustraveldocs.com. Goodluck

The NVC schedules appointments for my embassy and I have been instructed to not schedule my own. I did see that there are appointments available as soon as next month tho. Why does it take three months to schedule?

You have to wait until the embassy sends you the packet 3 and it take about 3 the longest 4 months and then you can schedule the appointment. If you schedule the appointment but haven't received your packet 3 you will be turned away at the gate. Happen to us and had to pay another visa fee

The embassy in Accra is diffently different from other countries.

The OP is a CR1 case, which means the NVC will schedule the interview for her. She doesn’t schedule it herself like K1s or reaffirmed cases. Also she will not receive a packet 3 from the embassy... that is also for K1s and CR1.

@Tasiedu08, from what I have heard from others waiting it’s taking several months to schedule CR1 interviews. Someone I know got Case Complete in August and is still waiting for an interview date. While I know it sucks to wait, look at it as a way to keep preparing your husband which will be the most important part of this whole process.
