Hello, everyone have told me that if we got marry first and ask for de spouse visa, is going to take longer, I meant that the procedure take more time to be approve,  it is that true?

It takes longer (by about 4 months on average) from filing to interview (and you have to marry first, which probably will take some time) unless you're in a country where you can do DCF and are eligible to do that (there are a few countries where you can apply for a CR-1 directly at the consulate if you and your spouse have both been legal residents there for six months; this is much faster than a K-1 or CR-1 if you apply for it in the US), but you get a green card right away so you can work and travel internationally immediately; you don't have to apply to adjust status (and pay the fee for adjusting status). It's up to you and your fiancé whether that's best for you.

Hola, me pregunto si la carta de la forma en que nos conocimos será firmada por ambos o solo por el peticionario.

Hola,

If you are referring to the "letters of intent to marry" within 90 days for the K1 process, YES, you do need them.  some people do it individually and some do a joint letter signed by both petitioner and beneficiary.

As stated by a fellow poster, consider marrying and doing CR1 and the DCF mentioned, if applies to Venezuela.  The way I hear how things are going there, marrying there and then petitioning may be better for you.

Buena Suerte,

Catherine.

No DCF in Venezuela but I always find it amusing when people say they are doing the K-1 purely because it’s “faster”. It’s currently faster by a couple of months. But what’s 3 months when have the rest of your lives together? The sooner you start, the sooner you will be done. But when you consider the benefits, the cost saving and the fact that the beneficiary can start “living” right away, those few months mean nothing. I can understand people who haven’t been able to see each other more than once a year would be tempted by a quicker process, but not people who have been living together.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Hello, it is true that the G-325A is no longer necessary to send in the package of the K1 application

Correct.

The info on that form was incorporated within application.
