Just checking to see if you see any biometric letter on your profile? Getting a little antsy as I want to have it done before my next week vacation.

I did! just came in this morning. Nov. 27 in Riverside, which surprises me (supposedly my local office is San Bernardino), but it’s only ~15 miles further away.

Keep checking your account!

Applied yesterday online from southwest  Florida,  Idk where is my field office, Tampa? Estimated case completion time 16 months!!! That can't be right, my 10 years Green Card and removing condition did not take that much longer😱!  Estimated time for biometric 2 months...

I heard that many people attempted and were successful. I will try tomorrow and will let you know. I am going on vacation next week and I would rather to have it done before I leave the country.

It's up to the office, but from many people who have done it, it's possible. You have to take your letter in hand (either the hard copy that comes or print the PDF from your online file), and have your required stuff (Green Card, other photo ID, etc.), and see if they will allow you.

Search for people at your local office and see what their results have been. I guess it moves your process forward a little bit, or else people do it if their appointment is inconvenient and they don't want to reschedule.

I reviewed some cases. after their bio appt, it took around 6-8 months for their interview. If went bio appt almost one month earlier, should interview appt be one month earlier as well?

It's hard to know! people's estimated times are often longer than their actual times, but there's no way to know exactly how long it would have taken if you just kept the scheduled appointment. I guess there's a chance and people like to take it, given how much waiting we all have done.

It took  20-25 min. I was there literally when they opened. I told them that my biometrics are schedule for the day when I will be travelling outside of the country, showed them my travel itinerary and they let me in. There was another girl who did a walk in and didn't have any travel proof but they also let her in. Don't forget to ask for the civic booklet to study for your test.
