MY SON IS FILING HIS TAX RETURN HIS OWN. I AM NOT SHOWING HIM AS MY DEPENDENT. HIS INOME IS NOT ENOUGH TO FILE AOS. I WANT TO SUPPORT HIM TO SUBMIT AOS FOR HIS WIFE. SHE IS IN INDIA.

WHAT FORM SHOULD I USED?

No, unless YOU need to combine income with him in order for YOU to qualify as sponsor.  You would be the only joint sponsor on the I-864 rather than a household member on the I-864a.  If your income is enough, be the joint sponsor.

Note that there are no "current YEAR income" questions on the I-864.  Current income is what you WILL earn during the next 12 months (not 2018) based on your current rate of pay.  If you made $50k through the end of September and lost your job, your current income is $0.  If you didn't work the first six months of this year but took a $50k job June first, your "current income" is 50k.

 

If you make a thousand a week or 500 every two weeks you'll find 500 X 26 or 1000 X 52 give the same result.  Multiply your current gross income for your most recent pay period times the number of full pay periods in a year.  That's your current income, (IF EMPLOYED).  Use that pay stub, rather than an employer letter as evidence of current income.
