K1 visa and passport - delivery question

Hi everyone, 

 

very pleased to say that my interview on Monday at the London Embassy was approved, and I'm now waiting for my passport to be delivered. My case is still showing as Immigrant Administrative Processing which I guess is normal as it has been less than 48 hours since my interview.

 

My question is that does it have to be me who receives delivery for the package when it arrives? I have a trip with some friends planned from Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th next week. There will be someone else on the property (a relative) to receive the delivery when it arrives. Or if I'm not there and only I can sign for it, where will the passport go? I really want to go on this trip but receiving my passport is the priority to be honest.
