Hello everyone. On the 22nd my husband and I both received emails saying we got an interview date November 5th, only 2wks away. We're very excited but also worried,  he called to make medical exam in London however the earliest appointment available is for the 12th after the interview. We don't know what to do has this happened to anyone else?

I would continue with the scheduled interview.  Assuming everything else is ok, your visa will be on-hold until the medical is completed and sent to the consulate.

It's not that big of a deal. Just go to the interview, tell them the earliest appointment you can get is the 12th. Assume everything is ok, they will just issue a 221(g) until they receive the medicals, then they'll resume processing your case. Nothing to worry about.

I arranged my interview for aug 22nd and then I called medical the closest date was September 1st. I asked to be put on their cancellation list so if anyone else cancels, they give you a call and see if you want that spot. They phoned me a few days later and offered me a medical appointment on 23rd August, a day after the interview.

The embassy were fine with the medical being after after the interview. It took 7 days for my medical to be sent to the embassy, and then I received my visa 11 days later.
