Received another letter of extension... but i received the 10 years gc awhile ago...

Hi

The title says all. I received another letter of extension for my conditional greencard (another 6 months) but the thing is I received my 10 years gc in the summer.... is that normal like a glitch in their system?

To add to it I did apply for the naturalization (still pending) and 2 days after i applied i received the greencard....

WOW，that sounds like a big glitch！what is up with these glitches happening these several days！？

I would guess those letters are sent automatically, and the system that sends them out is not well synchronized with the actual case status. IMHO, would not worry. Keep it or discard it, at your option.

I'd ignore the new letter.. shred it or save it along with the other paperwork).

I don't know why they sent it to you but personally I would keep it.  Since you have already applied for naturalization, when you get round to taking the oath, you can hand them that letter along with the greencard.
