Our intervew has been scheduled for Nov 29 since Oct 1 and CEAC is still showing "At NVC." I called NVC a couple of nights ago and our case is still there. Getting a bit anxious since our interview is coming up and our case is still not sent to the embassy. Is this normal?

it takes a few weeks to move and update to in transit, a week or so later it will change to READY that is when you know the consulate where you will interview has received it

I know you do, what I am saying is even if you have gotten the interview letter do not worry the CEAC will updated to in transit when it starts to move, and when it says READY you will be fine.

it just takes time

from the time I got my interview letter in my email it took almost 3 weeks for the CEAC to update to in transit, and another week or 2 for it to say READY this happened right before interview.
