Hello everyone!

Can I already get my DS-160 done, pay and schedule my interview when my NVC case status shows "IN TRANSIT"?

Thank you so much 😃

You should wait at least til it says ready. At least that’s what people have been doing lately...

I waited until the consulate sent their email with instructions (5weeks from i129f approval)

We were able to do everything the next day after NVC status changed to in transist. Interviews are booking out about 4-5 weeks so we didn’t want to waste anymore time then necessary.

After 10am tomorrow you should be able to. After you fill out DS-160 and submit, it will either say it is too early or allow you to proceed. We were eager and too early the first time trying to schedule and tried to do it the first day “in transit” 😂
