Hi,

My fiance and I just received our NOA2. Yay!

However, our case status on the website hasn't been updated since they notified us about an RFE
Has anyone gone through the same, and what could be done to fix that?

We wanted to keep track of our case as the NVC handles it.

Thank you for your help!

No way to track it other than calling the NVC directly.

They (NVC) do not update the CEAC tracker. Our case stayed in the same state for months until the embassy received our package (we got the bad end of the stick so our case became an anomaly of sorts). I'm pretty certain that the CEAC tracker is only updated by consulate/embassy so my advice is to just hound the NVC and get confirmation that they've received from your package from USCIS. Once they have received it then continue hounding them until they confirm that they've forwarded on your case to the embassy.  Usually takes about 2 - 3 weeks for them to receive from USCIS and and an additional 3-4 weeks in "administrative processing" till they forward it on to the embassy.

And just as an FYI, both the USCIS and NVC are equal in regards to their disorganization. Take anything they say with a grain of salt. If two or more agents tell you the same exact thing then you can quasi believe the information.

Not sure why the RFE status hasn't updated, but you won't see any updates from USCIS website after NOA2 (barring some rare situations involving a return to USCIS). You have to call NVC to get the NVC case number (or wait until you get a physical letter form NVC), then you can use CEAC to track it (although you won't see that much here either): https://ceac.state.gov/IV
