Organizing Documents for Sydney Interview

For those of you who have completed interviews in Sydney, how do you recommend organizing documents? I currently have everything I need (originals, copies, additional support) in a thin plastic accordion folder with labeled tabs. This was more for my own organizational purposes to keep track of everythign throughout the whole process rather than for organizing for the interview. Interview is next week and I'm wondering if this is a good way to take everythign in? I've read from other posts and consulate reviews that someone goes through your documents at security and puts what you need in a plastic folder. Once they do this, do they late you take supplementary documentation up with you? Will it be cumbersome for me to have things in the accordion folder? Would it be helpful for me to order everything in the accordion folder in line with the document cover sheet? Any last-minute advice is welcome!

Even though I don't know when my date is 😅,  so my advice is potentially not so valid.

I got a display folder type file - made a cover sheet and ordered the documents as per the cover letter, with copies the embassy will keep in separate slips.  I also made an index page and got sticky tabs to divide out 'sections' of documents - i.e civil certificates, i864 etc .

I'm excited for you, so close now!

Thanks! I think I'll just reorder my documents in the accordion file I already have to line up with the cover sheet (unless someone else weighs in here to tell me it's a huge mistake, haha!)

I'm really excited too! But also just anxious for it to be over.

So no word from NVC for you yet, huh? Ugh, hopefully they will be scheduling the November interviews soon and you'll hear something any day!

Nothing from NVC still, 22 days it’s making me quite frustrated. Starting to think it’s unlikely I’ll get to be with my wife and our family at Thanksgiving.
