tourist visa with resident brother

Hello everyone I want to apply for a tourist visa to take a small vacation and to visit my brother who is a permanent resident of the United States, I am Venezuelan, married, I am a permanent resident in Chile and I have been doing business for two years. I do not own a home or any other immovable property , financially I have savings that support that I can pay my stay there without any problem, my question is to make the application according to your experience the fact that visiting my brother can affect my request would be more convenient to say that I am visiting a park? likewise I do not intend to lie in the request regarding my brother's information

That's the key there. Don't lie. They will find the info out through some questions. Just be upfront and honest of your intentions and go from there.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

My Brother visits me most years.

 

Much easier to tell the truth.
