Hello everybody !

I'm in the process of applying for my wife's AOS (II-485) & her daughter's.

I'm confused as to how to pay the application fees and biometric fees , I'm paying for two people.

1-  Do I just write a check for the total amount from all the forms, fees and biometric fees for both my wife and her daughter,  or do I write a separate check for each form for my wife's daughter's forms and biometric fees??

2-  Are there biometric fees for children ?  My wife's daughter is 6 years old.

3- Do I put my wife's daughter's forms in the same packet as my wife's or do a separate packet for her daughter?

Any tips and help is greatly appreciated !

You can include all payments together. You do not have to pay for your daughters biometrics.

Your check should total $1,975.

Mail the forms together and keep their relevant paperwork separate but together (parent first, then child).

Thanks for your response and help .

I will be filing for their I-485, I-765, and I-131, AOS, EAD, and Advance Parole Travel .

Question on the AP .

The form asks for specific dates of travel and length of trip . We don’t have concrete dates for traveling yet . Do we need specific dates to put on the advance parole form ?

Nope. Put "TBD" for travel dates and you can say "to visit family in my home country" for the reason.

I made 2 checks. One for $1225 wich was my fees and biometric and $750 for my 6 year old kid. Every form have to be separate and with their own supporting documents but everything have to be mail on the same envelope. You can explain everything on the cover letter of your form I-485 and explain that there is the forms for you and your child. That’s how I did mine and they already cash the checks and I got my NOA1.

About the travel document you can put wherever dates you think after 5 months since that’s what is the time is taking. It’s not like you have to travel those dates. They just want an approximate and say that you want to visit your family. Look at the example forms here on VJ.

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️
