We just got it too!!  Congrats!!!  🎉🎉🎉 I thought this last part of getting the passport would be easier since we were lucky enough to miss the Canada Post strike.  But holidays with government shutdown sprinkled on top?  Of course.  #Endingswithafourish  Not complaining here though.  Just glad to get a tracking number!

Both Loois and MC1 had the CEAC update on the 18th that their passport was in final processing. We interviewed on the 20th and got the final processing notification on the 21st. What date does your CEAC update have?

Has your status changed to issued with the final visa processing and if not received within 5 days stuff yet? That was the next step change I got after the interview.

I am sure this is somewhere in this thread, but...well, we've all been together so long (haha) that I can't find the answer. We are planning for our January interview, and I am trying to do a little budgeting. I believe the guy at the Montreal Medisys said $455 for the medical. 1) Can anyone confirm this? 2) How much is the visa at the consulate? I vaguely remember that we have one more fee to pay at the consulate. Anyone know? Thanks!

That’s correct for Medisys if you don’t need any vaccinations. After you are approved, there is a $220.00 fee to process the green card which you pay before you enter the US. The faster you pay it, the faster you get it. About a month I hear

Mine was $466.85 with no vaccines.  If you are paying in cash, have exact amount (or close to it) because they do not have the proper change to give back to you.

We just got our tracking number this morning, finally, but it says that the number isn't valid yet. How long did it take before your number worked? Same day or the next day? @MC1 @Loois
