@AnnieLuna Ofcourse nervousness is normal. I think since they didnt reject the application, you are  absolutely ok. If they send RFE later, just send them photos(not glued but write description in the back). I sent them photos in a envelope during my AoS with description in the back and never got RFE. Did the same like AoS this time as well. If your application has gone to CSC, the cashing of checks is quite delayed like Oct 1st/2nd week in your case hopefully followed by NOA paper, then biometrics after 4/5 weeks of paper NOA for CSC, that seems to be the trend.

 

One thing we can understand from your post is, they look at the basic application if its fine for adjudication then cash the check and send out paper NOA.

Joining the gang in Sepetember 2018, good luck to everyone. I got my e-notification last week after filing on September 4th. Excited and Anxious!!

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

12th May'2016- Biometric Appointment Schedule

24th May'2016- Received RFE for Form I864( Tax Returns, Pay Stubs)(day 55)

26th May'2016- Sent out the evidence for RFE (day 57)

1st June'2016- Received notification that the RFE package was received. Case status website updated (day 56)

2nd June'2016- Put in a request for Change in Address for all the 4 applications. Received Confirmation mail the same day(day 57)

6th June'2016- Address change request was completed.(day 61)

11th June'2016- Letter of Address change confirmation was received. (day 66)

23rd June'2016- Called USCIS asked to spoke a Tier 2 officer was called back on the third attempt after 8 hours and spoke about confirmation of address change. (day 78)

24th June'2016- Status change for EAD only "New Card is being produced" (day 79)

29th June'2016- Card was mailed to me at the mentioned date(day 84)

2nd July'2016- Card received in mail (day 87)

9th August'2016- Interview scheduled for September 13th(day 125)

16th August'2016- Interview cancelled.(day 132)

13th September'2016- Attended the interview and was told my file wasn't available at the local office. (Day 163 )

29th October'2016- Rescheduled the interview for December 1st. (Day 209)

1st December'2016- Judgement Day RELOADED!(Day241)

2nd December'2016- New card is being produced!(Day 242)

6th December'2016- STATUS CHANGED TO NEW CARD HAS BEEN MAILED. (Day 246)

8th December'2016- Received USPS tracking code to track my GC. Scheduled for delivery on 14th December'16.

I just mailed my packet off today, I think I may have gone overboard but I’d rather send enough than not enough. It should arrive at the Phoenix lockbox on Tuesday.

This is my observation, it took about 9 calendar days for my case to show up. And till then I got case status not recognized. My package was delivered on Sep 17th to Lewisville  lockbox and check cashed on 20th, from there it was redirected to VSC.

The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

this is what I found on the website

 

In preparing your packet, remember:

  • Do not use binders or folders that we cannot easily disassemble.

Thank you. I use acco fasteners to put our documents together and I printed the photos on the paper itself. I jusy screenshot the photos on my iphone because it shows the date and location.

I sent my ROC package on 09/08 to CSC, and it arrived on 09/10.

My GC will expire on 10/11, I dont know if I will have my extension letter on hand by that time.

I am in a similar boat (received CSC 09/06 but so far radio silence apart from cashing my check). My understanding is that as long as they have received your petition, and it's being processed, you will be okay. The problem might come with an employer demanding I-9 verification - as mine has already warned me about - or if you leave the country. Do not leave the country!
