joint sponsor is a US citizen, her spouse is not , does this affect the affidavit of support ?

I have a question regarding a joint sponsor. I have filed an IR-5 ( petion for parents of Us citizen), Me and my spouse have filled in and signed the I-864 and I-864A (affidavits of support), and both of us are US Citizens. For the joint sponsor my sister in law who is a US Citizen is completing the form I-864, her spouse ( my brother) is on H1 and working in the United States ( it is a working visa, but they have filed for IR1/CR1, green card for the spouse , it is not yet approved for him) my question is should he file a I-864A, and could my sister in law include his income in her I-864..

@user2018 , her income would not cover it, but my brothers income would 🙂 

how or where could i check if a person can sponsor two cases. I think it should be fine as I am sponsoring my parents , and its considered 2 cases ( separate case numbers and all).

A sponsor can be a sponsor for an unlimited number of people, so long as they have the funds for their household size (which includes anybody covered by an I-864 still).

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
