Interview Finally Scheduled: 245ish days later

Timeline

Well the day finally came, just paper work preparation/medical and travel to consulate. Journey isn't over but we're in the last stretch..

Hey Mateo, did you wait for packet 3 to schedule your interview? I was reading your other posts where seem to be possible With the link you have for Bogota embassy

Correct! If you look at the VisaJourney thread about Bogota Info, you don't have to wait till packet 3 (http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota).

You go here (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/iv), create an account, you need to make sure that when tracking your case number here (https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx) it says, "Ready" for you to proceed in creating the account. Once you did your DS-160 and have confirmation page you'll use it in the creating of your account with the embassy. Once created you do the process on the website and pay the fees and choose the available dates then your all set! After interview dates are set, set up medicals and your golden.

Thank you very much. I still waiting for NVC but now I know what’s the next step
