August & September 2018 - I-130 (Parents) Tracker

I have a question, I hope someone can enlighten me. My wife who is a US Citizen has petitioned for her mother in the Philippines with a Concurrent I130/I485. We have received her NOA1 for both. What happens for her biometrics? Would that happen at the US embassy in Manila at the same time as her interview?

Not exactly sure how it goes from here forward. Just a little concerned. Or am I overly concerned about nothing?

Just trying to stay a step or two ahead to help the process move along smoothly.

Now I'm freaked out. I applied i130 and i485 concurrently and my mom is not in the US. Have I lost $1225? or will the i485 merely be delayed until she is in the US?

The USCIS instructions are not very clear.

I would call to find out. Was it a money order? If it was a car, I would assume they would just not bill you, but is it a money order - it may be hard to even guess. Please reach out and hopefully they can answer. As far as keeping it for you, government agencies don't really work like that.

I sent it through UPS in regular mail costing me $12, why I do not know. However, I do hope to receive it the text soon.

@4jacques thanks for starting this thread. I became a US citizen on Mon Sep 24th I immediately filed a petition for my Mom, my dad is deceased, I sent the I-130 with a copy of my naturalization cert, a copy of my birth certificate, and the form for the CC. My package was delivered yesterday, however neither my CC has been charged nor have I received a text/email so just waiting.

Do we have a tracker template like what there is in for citizenship or passport??

Thanks

Glad to hear. I received the text notification yesterday 10/1/18 and the card was charged the day before that. Yes, let the wait be as excruciatingly short as possible. I hope as we go through the holiday, they keep working lol.
