Hello. My mom was approved in Dominican Republic 8/17/2018, but CEAC website states it’s on AP. They took her passport and said her visa will be ready in 2 weeks. They only ask her 3 questions and didn’t tell her if she needed anything else. The consul said congratulations welcome to the United States. I’m confused does anyone have a similar case?

thanks

It will always change to AP then it will change to ISSUED. Just wait a few more days

It is normal process. It is going to update a few times before it states Issued. Plus, give them 10 days before the visa is ready.

In the meantime, try not to stress yourself about it. Your mom got a verbal approval and they took her passport...which is good

She also got a white paper says congrats your visa has been approved conditional. What does that mean?

All is well........just be patient a little longer.  Congratulation to you and your family...
