Hello everyone!

So today my fiances house closed! Hooray super excited for him and us.... this is a huge move!

Sooooooo.... We mailed out the petition on July 30, 2018 and received our NOA1 on August 1, 2018. However there is now a slight change in the information and it has to do with Part 2 Address in the United States where your Beneficiary intends to live. As of today it would now be his new address. At the time of sending the petition in I did not use the new address because he legally did not own the property, I used the address that was his technical primary residence (his parents).

So my question is how do I change this information? Is it necessary? Did I royally screw up?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

If I follow, you are between the NOA1 and NOA2, so it is still your fiance’s Petition.  He will need to notify USCIS that his address has changed so the NOA2 or any RFEs are sent to the proper address (I don’t believe the USPS will forward mail from USCIS). As for you, I wouldn’t worry about it just now, when you get to the consulate phase and have to complete the DS160 when you apply for the K1, you can make the address change.

Good Luck!
