I just recently filed a petition to bring my fiance to the US from the Philippines. I did not attach a cover letter will my petition get rejected? Also we have only been together for six months before he proposed, will that affect anything?

Can't say for certain about the cover letter; but that is only piece missing from the entire packet? If so they may let it slide.

 

And no, really the time of relationship for USCIS doesn't matter, so by time it get's to the embassy level for an interview, you will have had a lot more relationship time.

A cover letter is not needed. People send that out so the paperwork is organized and the officers can look up things quickly. This is not something to worry about. 

The philipines embassy seems to not really care about much and hands out k1 visas like it’s candy. Unless one of you has a criminal background, you should be fine

If you're worried already this will be a long process. Relax, and just go as it goes.

Again, it’s optional to send that. It doesn’t matter

The first NOA1 give from 1-4 weeks for the hard copy in you mail.

 

For the second NOA2 well is taking from 5 to 7 months!! Nowadays the average is 7 months!
