We approved your case

Read the notice we mailed you for more information

If you do not receive your notice by August 18, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

I see above message for just my Mom's case number. My Dad's case still shows "We received your case"!!!!

Anyone experienced this before? What does this mean, i am little worried.

Congrats.

It means they only adjudicated your mom's petition so far. If your dad's petition was sent in the same package, it will likely be adjudicated soon. It doesn't mean anything is wrong.

The 2 applications are separate and processed separately.. they could have been given to different USCIS workers  or a dozen other ways that emans they aren't physically next to each other.. there isnt anything really you can do.. hopefully the other one will be approved in the next day or so and their journey to the NVC will be together.. but they are each stand alone petitions and not joint

This does not have to mean that he will be denied. It could just be a situation of a separate reviewing by a different officer.

Just be patient and breathe :)
