I currently live in Vietnam with my wife which is Vietnamese and I am an American I want to take her to the States to meet my family and friends, we filled the DS-160 payed the fees she just had her interview on Monday and she failed because she doesn't own a house here in Vietnam. They told her that once she got to the US she won't come back here. We live with her family and we  have two daughters. Is there anything I can do to rectify this I don't have the money to go out and just buy a house right now. Thanks in advance

It's not about the house only. Her husband being US citizen is the biggest "issue" here. Embassy always assume immigrant intent and her would be to move to the US with her husband. And I suppose all her ties to Vietnam wasn't strong enough. Ties are owning a property, having a steady job, going to school, etc.

Agree with @Roel. Having a US husband kind-of makes it difficult.

Look at it this way. Say you two decide to move to the US. Currently, it is taking almost a year and a half before your wife would get the visa. That is a long time to wait before you two could move. What is stopping her from using that tourist visa to simply fly to the US immediately and adjust her status so she could get there faster?

Nearly zero chance she will ever get a tourist visa. I suggest having your family and friends take a vacation to Vietnam. In the alternative, file CR-1 spouse visa (unless you never plan to live in the U.S.).

Not much else you can do.
