Okay,  this notice was released June 11, 2018.  Has anyone received their new 'extension' to the extension letter as I will call it?

Doesn't look like VSC filers will need one but at the rate CSC is processing cases......it will be 2019 most likely before June and July 2017 filers will be approved.

While I have booked an infopass appt for the I-551 stamp I am still left wondering about the state of CSC.  Read this: https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/form-i-751-data-entry-delay-california-service-center which was posted June 13, 2018.

I'm a May 2018 filer. Some people who received their NOA around the date of transition  have received both a 12 month and a 18 month.

They are only sending out these 18 month extensions to people who have had their case processed around the time of the change, and then of course after. So people who had their NOA's around June 11th and afterwards will receive it.

You will still have to get a I-551 stamp.

Slightly off-topic: Have you considered submitting the N-400 since you are a PR since 2015-09-25?

In the works right now.  Applying doesn't resolve the extension to the extension letter problem however.

You will still have to get a I-551 stamp.

Actually, it says that they're to be issued to applications still pending:

"Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018."

I received my 12 month extension letter early May, I wonder if or when I will receive the 18months one.  Anyone called USCIS for clarity?

You're certainly eligible to receive the 18-month extn letter (i751 pending as of June 11) but at the rate USCIS is functioning, folks might get their 10-yr green card before they see the 18-mo letter :)

I-751 journey

10/16/2017.......... ROC package mailed

10/18/2017.......... I-751 package received VSC

10/19/2017.......... I-797 NOA date

10/30/2017.......... Notice received in mail

10/30/2017.......... Check cashed

11/02/2017.......... Conditional GC expired

11/22/2017.......... Biometrics completed

Well, I doubt you'll need one.  The extension letter is for poeple who are removing conditions, ie. the 2 year GC expired and are awaiting the 10 year GC.

Without an accurately completed timeline it is difficult to understand your situation.

We had some people who received both a 12 month extension and an 18 month extension if their NOA date was June 09th-12th, 2018.
