Slec Psychiatric evalution

my employer withdraw thier job offer beacause they found out that i addmitted marijuana use (literary just tried once and not using) back in 2013 their reason psych evaluation is a long process and they cant wait for that long and i may not pass the health standards of the immigration , yes i admit tried once my life i told the doctor, i dont understand why, base on my medical examination report - im healty, no mental/physical illness, no evidence of drug used, fit to work for employment..  i am disappointed and cant have enough sleep because of my honest mistake.. my question is do i still need to see the Slec clinic for psychiatric evaulation next month? 

 

i mailed the clinic and told them that my employer withdraw their job offer and not going back in manila for the evaluation cause its no hope for my employment .

no relpy from St. Luke’s medical yet

 

i been thinking what if i get another job offer anytime soon and take new medical examination on slec will my previous result be an issue? i made a promise not to mention and admit marijuana use to the doctor again will this be posible?

 

any advice?

This is typical to require a psych evaluation if there is a concern of drug use. If they have stated that you need to go through the evaluation, then you must go through it.

1. It's already recorded on your record...there's no way to make that go away. The truth caused a delay but prevented something much worse.
2. Do NOT lie to anybody with immigration. There is a permanent bar for misrepresentation.

Exactly as above. Never omit facts or mislead people or lie.

 

Your medical is on file and will always be so they can compare any future medicals to the results of this one and answers you gave. It's permanent.

Is it possible for you to not admit previous use?  Yes, if you wanted to purposefully lie.

Is it a good idea to?  No.

 

What you've said/admitted to in the past medical examination will be compared to what you say/admit to in any new one.  It's in your file for good.

 

Once the lie comes to light, you could be facing a permanent bar on any type of visa in the future.
