All I can say is if you work in a restaurant GET USED TO IT! It happens in almost all restaurants. I've worked with a lot of girls who have quit because of it. Doesn't bug me I just play along. Makes the day more fun. Working in the restaurant business is a very high stress job most of the time and people are just like that. Makes the day easier to get through especially if you're working 12-16hr days.

Sorry, but with that kind of attitude...its no wonder why it still gets done. Have you read my original post at all??? The guy is 62 and the girls are UNDERAGE!!!! I won't get used to it nor should anyone else. The law is the law. When someone is making a guy or woman feel uncomfortable and frightened to come to work because they fear having comments made to them, or like with me and the other new female manager, we are made to feel as though he can have our jobs taken from us...there is a definate problem. There will definately be a problem when he finds out that I will be higher then him now which already has me worried. This guy is trouble.

To answer someone elses question in regards to our company policy, yes we do have set guidelines that is why everyone is surprised that the guy still has his job. But again, it isn't just the sexual harassment accusations, it his work PERIOD! The guy does nothing.

i think a visit in the parking lot after shift by the father of one of these girls will resolve this problem quickly.

LMFAO...I FRICKEN LOVE YA!!! Now I remember why I love it on here so much....thanks!!!

if word gets around, you might need to install one of those "take a number" machines in the parking lot

pmsl...will u be first in line ???? i best get some work done around this house now...cant sit and play today..but i am sure i will sneak back on here and there hehehe

Love is not an EMOTION or FEELING....

hahahahahaha.. yeah, i really wanted to kick that guys azz who kissed me on my neck. but i loved my job and i didn't want to have to quit (and everyone would know it was me who told, i was one of the only girls in that kitchen) so i kept quiet. unfortunately its like saying its just part of the job. its happened in kitchens everywhere i've worked, in every country.

I agree. It has happened to me in every kitchen in every country I've worked in too. And console master...being a chef is NOT a low end job. I have only worked in fine dining and fine catering in the US for some of the biggest names that I'm sure most of you know. I've only worked in 2 or 3 Michelin starred restaurants in Europe. Don't diss my career...I love to cook, I love my job.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thanks for that guys! I am very proud of my accomplishments in management, and the fact that I got a promotion only reiterates how good I am at my job. For me this is my stepping stone to one day having my own restaurant which is my goal. It takes a lot of hard work to run a restaurant...and I don't believe that just anyone can do it. has to why they have this guy managing...well all I can say is that he knew the right things to say at his interview...and like my area supervisor said...the cream has risen to the top. This guy talks the talk but cant walk the walk..I have faith that he will one day hang himself with his own wrong doings.
