What is the best way to put all the papers together when filing just staple them together or put it all in a folder or a binder, I dont remember seeing anything about it.

I stapled sheets from the same form together (like all the pages of my passport) and then bound the groups using a large clip. The idea is to have stuff together that is considered one item (such as, the Petition form, the Passport, the Evidence, etc) and present your entire petition in a neat and organized way so the person working on your application doesn't have to spend a lot of time looking around your papers. A cover sheet with table of contents helps a lot with this.

I followed the sugestions here on VJ, and punched all forms at the top using a 2 hole punch and bound it all together with an ACCO fastner, Put ot all in an enevlope, then took to post office, and used one of the convenient Tyvec priority mail envelopes and sent the whole thing to them Priority/Certified with receipt card.

If you have access to these fasterners that's a good way to go. I wouldn't go out and buy them just to use one or two. Any clip will do to hold them together. USCIS will file them using their own method when the get them. They do use these fasters, so you're doing them a favor if you use them too.

I didn't follow any of those recommendations. I created my own. I just think, " Now, if I'm reviewing hundreds of files daily how would I want it to be organized. "
