IR-1 Approved Visa

My husband had his interview on May the 9th in dhaka. And the consular inform him that he will receive his passport in 10 days (not sure if she meant working days or calendar days). We have been checking the ceac website, but all we see is ready. Which has ready for an interview. He was not asked to provide any additional information. He contacted the embassy and they sent an email stating that they are working on his case and will get back to him soon. Has anyone ever had this happen to them and how long did it take to receive your passport?

When usually dealing with the USG always use working days not calendar days. So give it another week at least before getting concerned.

Update to my previous message:

 

The Embassy in Bangladesh, responded back to my email and said that my husband case was going through additional reviewing. Is this the same as administrative processing?  Or just part of the visa protocols? They didn't ask or email for additional documents. How long does this normal take? Also my husband was granted approval on his interview, May 9th. I also called the Embassy in Bangladesh, and she told me I should not worry, but obviously that's easier said than done.
