Hello Good day,The thing is  We are in the process to renew my conditional greencard with my daughter, and then when i check my greencard it says my greencard would expire in 10 years but my daughter's greencard expire in 2 years, i was petition by my us citizen husband through spousal visa... me and my daughter arrived in u.s the same time.... im just confuse cause if i received a 10 year greencard why my daughter received only 2 years if she is under on my greencard? Do i have to remove my daughter conditional greencard by herself? I would be happy is someone is going to answer my question or my case.. if someone has the same situation please advise me if you they same situation like mine.. thank you very much.

Do you married more than 2 year with US citizens spouse, if yes you get 10 years GC, if not then you need to fixed the error on your green card since it suppose 2 year(CR1) not 10 year(IR1). Do this ASAP to prevent any trouble in the future.

I was married to my u.s citizen husband for over 2 years before arriving here in the u.s ... so my green card says on category IR1 and it expires 10 years and my daughter cr2 and it expires 2 years... i am confuse cause if i recieved 10years my daughter should have 10 years also ... cause i dont think she can remove her conditional status by herself cause she is under me....and right now trying to get an apointment to go in local office but i can only do this in 2 weeks cause thats the only available date online for apointment.. yeah this very confusing to me.... sorry for the late reply.

Ok so yes your card is right. Sounds like they messed up your daughters. It needs to be fixed, too bad you didn't notice this before. Hopefully others will come along soon and help you with the correction.

You should have sent your daughter's card back with an I-90.  She doesnt need to remove conditions, she just has the wrong expiration.

Do you mean fill up i-90 form and send her greencard with it?

Yes.  With a photocopy of your marriage certificate and her endorsed Visa in her passport showing her entry date.  Highlight the marriage date and her entry date.  If POE was 2 years or more after your marriage date she should have received an IR2.

Whatever the instructions say.  Probably the original.
