Good Morning All,

Has anyone graduated from a medical course abroad (outside the US) or specifically from the Philippines and found work in the US ?

I have a close relative who just graduated Pharmacy & was asking for advise on how to get a job here in California.

I am clueless and my only advise I can give is to apply for a student visa and go to school again as an International Students (yikes, the costs!!) as the educational standards are different.

Any experiences that someone can share?

Thank you!

She would have to find a company that is willing to hire her and file for a work visa for her. Her first step is to look for companies that are hiring medical workers that are willing to sponsor. Nothing can happen before that.

The other option is the student visa, which you mentioned, but you can see there is major costs associated with it.
