Hi all,

I applied to have the conditions on my green card removed on January 17 (this is the date they received it).

it is now almost May 1st and other than my NOA, I have not heard of anything.

My friend filed at the same office in November and got his interview 3 months later.

Is there anyone I can call to check and see if something went wrong?

my case status used to say they received my application but since one week it’s changed to “can’t give any information at this time”. Which I am hoping means they’re about to update it to “hey, your letter is coming!” But I doubt it. -.-

Is anyone else here filing in California and having the same issues? Should I be worried and find a lawyer to help see what’s going on? Or do I just have to have faith and patience?

03/02/2015: filed I-129F at the USCIS Texas

03/13/2015: received confirmation (Form I-797), file will now get routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. We wait :)

Getting an interview 3 months after filing for ROC is unheard of. CSC is running very slow, I've attached a link below showing the processing times are 17.5 - 19 months. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/#mainContentThere are threads with people that filed ROC in January. You should join one and you will see they are all in the same boat. Here's one for an example

The USCIS tracking is useless until you get your biometrics letter. Even then it's pretty useless because I've seen that is doesn't change until you are approved (or denied). I followed the threads for ROC for December and January and have yet too see anyone receive biometrics from CSC

We file in March and prepared for the long haul. It ain't quick.

Yeah I guess I’ve just been so lucky this whole time because nothing has taken this long during the whole entire process.

in that sense it’s a luxury problem.

I also have a bad case of senioritis lol and I just wanna be there already! The waiting! Oh my good lord! Hahaha

well, almost there!!
