I had my k1 interview in London yesterday and was approved. However, on the CEAC website my status still says ‘ready’ and talks about scheduling an interview or preparing documents for your interview with case created 06 March 2018 and case last updated 20 April 2018.

When should the status change? After I was told I was approved yesterday the lady said congrats and then I left. There was no paperwork or anything officially stating I’ve been approved so I’m a little paranoid

It takes a couple of business days. Mine said "ready" the day after interview and then later that day went to "administrative processing". The CEAC website is only as fast as the person who manually updates it. I would check again Monday afternoon.

if they kept your passport then approved

it takes time to process the visa stamp and document packet

a few years ago they hardly ever updated the site and my husand was here for months before the site said issued

like the above says "only as good as the person doing the updating"

Did they teal you wen will you able pick up?To my friends say after 4 days come pick up your passport and documents.

London does not permit you to collect from the embassy. You have to use the courier service. Crazy rule.

Just had a look at my IR-1 visa in my passport. I had my interview on December 6, 2016 and the issue date on my visa is December 8. If I recall, it didn't update to say "issued" until the 9th.
