Visa processing for Cubans in Guyana

I was wondering if anyone has received an interview date and instructions at the  Embassy in Guyana ?

Good morning 

I am in the same situation waiting for an interview's date for my husband.

I think NVC is still working on this huge change. They are organizing the interview's date for Cubans and our processes were be delayed 2 or 3 more months. Our case was ready for an interview in Bogota however it was seat at NVC waiting for an available interview's date and this situation of the change of embassy came up in the middle of it.  I would  advice you to write an email to NVC by June 1st which is the date they supposed to start the interviews in Guyana. I think the process will be quite faster than it was in Colombia and also this U.S embassy in Guyana does not have the demand of visas to be processed and cases to be attended as the Colombia one has. Just crossed our fingers to get our interview soon.

I´m very glad that they moved that process of cubans to Guyana instead of Bogota, that put out of congestion the embassy of US in Bogota were my Visa is being processed.

I was hoping that I would hear from NVC before June 1st  with an interview date for June/July, I will be contacting them if I don't. Thank you for the advice

Thanks, I´m also Cuban, but I live in Bogota since January 2017! Good luck in your process!

Hello all. Same situation here. We've been waiting since March 2017 for our interview, and unfortunately only know that our file is ready for the interview stage since August 2017, but no interview letter, email, nor phone call. Unable to get an answer from the helpful but probably overwhelmed Bogota staff.

We're hoping (and forced optimism) that this move will help speed things up. 

Good new : A quick search showed that flights from Cuba usually stop in Trinidad & Tobago, which does not require a visa. 

I hope to see information of those who receive notice of interviews in Guyana!

MY CASE WAS COMPLETE MARCH 14 ,2018 AT NVC .ANY UPDATE ABOUT THE INTERVIEWS IN GUYANA FOR CUBANS? I WLL APPRECIATE  ANY NEW INFORMATION . I KNOW NVC ARE SCHEDULING JUNE RIGHT NOW. BUT NOTHING ELSE.

No updates for me yet, I will post any changes when I hear from them. Hopefully we get and interview date soon !!!

My Case was completed at NVC on April 2nd 2018. You are welcome and good luck
