Mailing time of green card from approval to your doorstep?

Hi everyone,

 

so how long did it take from your interview and being approved  until you received green card in the mail?

So another way to ask:  how many days, weeks did you wait for green card to finally arrived into your mail box?

I received my card exactly one week after my interview.

And what was your interview like?

I'm just nervous mostly about when will i get the card home...because my health insurance company is harassing me like i'm the one stalling this process while it's not in my hands. I wish there was a way to expedite it or sth so i don't lose the insurance for i need it because of my serious chronic disease- aka if i lose it and i'll need an emergency surgery again...i can't afford it...so i may as well die then... :/

 

It's just ridiculous... I truly hope it comes within a week...while i heard from some people it may take months...

My interview was easy. The officer just went over the application and asked if all the information was still correct. She added some information about my job to the form. We gave her some extra evidence of our marriage (joint bank account statement, insurance documents for both of us through my job). She said she didn't see any reason not to approve it. The next day my status changed to approved, and my card arrived the next week. But I know others who have waited several months after their interview, so you never know. I hope it all works out for you!
