I-751 sent to local office message

Hello.

 

many of us if not all of us seem to get the standard “your case has been sent and received to your local field office”

 

doing some research it seems that all cases at the centres are reviewed and marked with an A, B or C. A means the case is easy to approve. B means some things are a bit off but still approveable and C is interview them.

 

then the cases are sent to the field offices. Technically all cases are required for an interview however the standard practice is to waive this requirement. Almost all A marked cases don’t have an interview. I can’t recall the percentage of B marked cases that are call for an interview but I think it’s like 50-60% don’t have one and C marked ones are likely to be interviewed although that still is up to the field office. 

 

Hope this helps. And of course take this with a grain of salt because as I’m sure we all know it seems we get different info at times from different people which frustrates us all as to if we are doing this process correctly

I filed in late Oct 2016 to the CSC... still waiting... I got the received to local office msg on Feb 26th 2018

Looks like almost everyone received the local office message mid February.

Yea. My local office said it’s cuz they are shipping cases to them because they are overwhelmed. No idea.

It's a placeholder message. I got it on Feb 26th then on March 15th I got my approval from the California Service Center, not my local office. Now we're seeing mass updates on approved cases (for the I-751 case number, not the CRI-89 case number) saying card production and biometric review, even for people who have already received their Green Cards. Seems like they're experimenting with their systems using the real-world environment rather than a development one.

This is a tedious process and the current political climate just makes me nervous cuz seems like they are just out to get you for any little mistake. I’m all about safety and security but good grief. Hire more staff or something

I like the theories presented.  As much as I try to postulate I can't.  You guys are either infiltrating USCIS or have some inside connections, cuz, how you came up with your theory is very creative.....and possibly correct.  Wish my brain was trained to think like yours.....
